Was Usher in a Scary Movie?

Have you ever wondered if Usher, the renowned singer and dancer, had a role in a scary movie? Well, the answer is yes! Usher has made a few appearances in horror flicks that might surprise you.

First Appearance:
Usher’s first appearance in a scary movie was in the 1998 slasher film “The Faculty.” Directed by Robert Rodriguez, the movie featured a group of high school students who discover their teachers are aliens trying to take over the world.

In the film, Usher played Gabe Santora, one of the football players on the school team. Although his role was small, it was definitely memorable.

Second Appearance:
Usher’s second appearance in a scary movie was in 2005’s “In The Mix.” Although it wasn’t a horror film per se, it did have some horror elements.

The movie starred Usher as Darrell Williams, a DJ who gets mixed up with an Italian mob boss. There are scenes in which Usher’s character is chased and threatened by gangsters, which could definitely be considered scary.

Third Appearance:
In 2013, Usher appeared in another horror flick called “Scary Movie 5.” Directed by Malcolm D. Lee and written by David Zucker and Pat Proft, the movie was a parody of various horror films including “Mama,” “Paranormal Activity” and “Black Swan.”

In this film, Usher plays himself as he attends Charlie Sheen’s party at his mansion. Later on in the movie, he is seen being attacked by demonic children which makes for quite an amusing scene.

So there you have it – three movies where Usher made appearances that were either directly or indirectly related to horror themes. While his roles were not necessarily leading ones or even particularly big ones (except perhaps in “The Faculty”), they were enough to make them memorable.

Perhaps we’ll see more of Usher in horror movies in the future, or maybe he’ll stick to his music and dancing. Either way, it’s always interesting to see celebrities try their hand at different genres, especially when they succeed as Usher has done.
